Linda Mar area is home to an endless amount of trails just waiting to be found. Hazelnut Hiking Trail, whose trailhead lies in the back of San Pedro Park, is a 5-mile trek through a eucalyptus grove and some of Pacifica’s most beautiful flora and fauna. Higgins Road, another local spot, is a fairly easy walk through forest trails. Benches make this area a splendid place to be during a warm summer sunset.
**The many trees in Pacifica make for a lovely, crisp aroma year round. So take a couple deep breaths often, and enjoy the smell of real-live nature.
Pacifica is truly a nature lover’s paradise… with a slight chance of fog. With year-round mild temperatures, the infamous blanket of fog often gives way to sunshine the farther back in the valley you go. But regardless—rain or shine, you can always find Pacificans biking, running, or roughing the waves.
Many Pacificans are proud pet owners. The Sanchez Dog Park offers easy opportunity for doggy social hour. For a quieter walk, try San Pedro Terrace Road: a relaxing, more secluded experience for you and your pooch. If neither sounds quite right, the Linda Mar Beach Trail is always a good option for a walk with a splendid view.
